William T.Vaith is an Owatonna native who now resides in Mount Vernon, WA.

He achieved his Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts degrees at Mankato State University, Mankato, MN. His first major is in ceramics with an emphasis in sculpture and pottery. His second major is in graphic design with an emphasis in advertising. The Master of Arts degree was earned in 1994 with an emphasis in ceramic sculpture.

 After graduation at MSU, Mr. Vaith achieved a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona at Tucson in 1997.  Once again, the emphasis was on ceramics and sculpture.
