To members or prospective members of the Owatonna Arts Center:
We would like to ask you to join OAC, or just to renew, perhaps at a higher membership level.
Not an easy thing to do when we seem to be asked the very same thing from many of the institutions
we hold near and dear to our hearts. Nonetheless, we'd like to give you Five Really Good Reasons
to Increase and Send In My Membership to the Owatonna Arts Center.
First, we have a REALLY GREAT Arts Center! It is in a class by itself. We have shows,
we have classes, we have meetings, we have concerts. Phew! Take a look at the calendar f
or upcoming events. This place gets used!
Second, the Owatonna Arts Center is good for the community. We have a number of educational
opportunities that span all age groups and interests. Want to learn more about water color
painting? We have a class for you. Want to spin a piece of clay into a one-of-a-kind
centerpiece? We have a class for you.
Third our OAC does not operate on a particularly large budget. Fact is, we get a lot of bang
for our collective buck around here. We could dazzle you with lots of graphs and charts and
silly looking pictures. But the bottom line is the bottom line. And it isn't very far from
the top line.
Fourth, you will help maintain the fiscal stability of the Owatonna Arts Center. Our
membership drive follows the OAC calendar year, September through August, but we accept
memberships at any time of the year!
Fifth, there is a plan to tap into tomorrow's generation of OAC's supporters. This is
already evident in our current Board. Your legacy will live on.
