Events at the Arts Center
Sunday July 15, from 10AM to 4PM -- Secret Garden Tour .
There are 8 gardens on the tour, gardens range from a primitive garden,
water elements, to a raised vegetable garden.
Tickets are ten dollars in advance, and can be purchased at Kottke’s or the Arts Center,
or twelve dollars the day of the tour.
Sunday July 22th -- Jean Zamboni & OZ Press Honored.
This event will show case the silkscreen work of Owatonna artists Alice Ottinger
and Jean Zamboni. This event is a cooperative program with the Steele County
Historical Society, with a talk by Jean Zamboni at 2PM at the center and shortly
after 3PM a demonstration at the Historical Society. This event is free and
open to the public.
Sunday July 29th, from 7:30 AM to 12:30 -- Pancake breakfast at the Eagles
This is a fundraiser to benefit the Arts Center on. Tickets are $5 at the door or
$4.50 in advance at Kottke’s or the Arts Center. For all Festival activities, click on ART FAIR at left.
Friday July 27, 9 AM to Noon -- The Festival of the Arts will host a free workshop.
Individuals interested in attending need to phone the arts center to register
at 507-451-0533. It will be at the Arts Center.
Fused Glass Pendants will be taught by Sue Peoples. There is be a ten dollar
materials fee payable to the instructor.
